Technician – Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

About the role

We are seeking a Technician to support our production environment. The role involves analysing schematics, printouts and specifications, maintaining and optimising a wide range of equipment, and assisting in the development and validation of test programs.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret schematics, printouts and specifications to assess equipment functionality.
• Perform daily maintenance, optimisation and proactive troubleshooting of equipment.
• Assist engineers in debugging and troubleshooting new and existing products and systems.
• Develop and update test programs and procedures for emerging technologies.
• Calibrate and validate testing instruments on a regular basis.
• Support project meetings, ensure timely delivery of assignments and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to department‑level process improvements and share technical information with colleagues.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• 0–2 years of experience in equipment operation, troubleshooting or a related field.
• Ability to follow guidelines, maintain confidentiality and work under direct supervision.
