Technician – Heavy Equipment Repair

About the role

Join a leading dealer focused on Volvo Construction Equipment to deliver high‑quality repairs and maintenance for heavy‑duty machines. You will work both in the workshop and on‑site, providing direct support to customers while ensuring equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, disassembly, repair, and re‑assembly of Volvo construction equipment.
• Order and manage parts and materials, ensuring all required tools and special equipment are available.
• Maintain clean and safe work environments in both field vehicles and workshop spaces.
• Complete job cards, reports, and warranty documentation accurately and on time.
• Provide technical advice to customers to resolve operational issues.
• Oversee trainee or apprentice technicians when assigned.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer‑facing skills and professional communication.
• Attention to detail in documentation and safety compliance.
• Willingness to stay current with heavy‑equipment technology.

Required skills

• Use of testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Proficiency with hand tools, pressure gauges, multimeter, camera, and VCADS system.
• Experience in parts recommendation, ordering, and warranty handling.
• Knowledge of heavy‑equipment repair procedures and safety regulations.
