Technician (Inspector) - Aircraft Engines

About the role

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is looking for an onsite Technician (Inspector) in Singapore to inspect, assemble and disassemble aircraft engines, modules, components and accessories. The role supports the Assistant Foremen and Cell Leaders in reaching production and operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery, equipment and tools to perform assembly, disassembly and inspection of engines, modules, components and accessories.
• Interpret and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance with technical standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during daily operations to keep workflow efficient.
• Support the Assistant Foremen and Cell Leaders in achieving production and operational targets.
• Perform SAP transactions, including updating and modifying work orders.
• Take part in EH&S programmes and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance.

Required profile

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in engine or module assembly, disassembly, inspection or testing.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and manuals.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented and hands-on, proactive and eager to learn.
• Willing to work rotating day and night shifts and commit to overtime when required.

Preferred qualifications

• Technical experience in Engine MRO or the aerospace industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP systems.
