Telemarketer – Outbound Sales for Insurance

About the role

Allianz Insurance Singapore is seeking a proactive Telemarketer to engage bank‑partner customers through outbound calls. You will promote general insurance products, ensure accurate claim information, and help customers understand their benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to existing and potential customers of business partners, presenting insurance products with clear knowledge.
• Upsell and cross‑sell general insurance solutions, retaining customers based on their needs.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements for all sales calls.
• Support sales targets and contribute to overall business goals.
• Perform occasional system UAT and devise process workarounds when required.
• Contact customers for policy renewal and recovery procedures.
• Perform additional duties to enhance the customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum O’Level/Diploma (SPM holders with relevant experience considered).
• At least 1 year of contact‑centre experience or 6 months of telemarketing experience in general‑insurance sales.
• Certifications in HI, BCP, PGI, and Comm GI.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high‑productivity sales environment.
• Motivated to achieve targets with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer competency, especially MS Office.
• Meticulous, responsible, systematic, with prior telesales and customer‑service experience preferred.

Required skills

• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Co‑Pilot (advantageous).
