Tender Engineer / Proposal Engineer – HVAC & BMS

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Tender Engineer / Proposal Engineer to join our team and support the preparation of competitive quotations for HVAC and BMS projects across Singapore. You will work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents and extract technical and commercial requirements.
• Prepare, compile and submit bid proposals in line with customer specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and respond to post‑submission queries.
• Source competitive quotations from suppliers and sub‑contractors.
• Negotiate pricing with customers and sub‑contractors.
• Estimate costs, prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Schedule of Rate (SOR), Schedule of Breakdown (SOK) and Schedule of Technical Data (SOT).
• Support project handover and provide engineering assistance during execution when required.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the HVAC/BMS industry.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost estimation.
