Threat Risk Cybersecurity Trainer

About the role

Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS), a wholly owned subsidiary of GovTech, is hiring a Threat Risk Cybersecurity Trainer in Singapore. You will design, deliver and improve cybersecurity workshops for government ICT officers, covering threat modelling, risk assessment and practical exercises. Selected candidates will be hired as contract employees until 31 March 2029.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve course content, including workshop curriculum and materials, aligned with government security standards and best practices
• Create practical exercises and case studies relevant to ICT officers' roles, and collect participant feedback to improve the programme
• Compile workshop outcome reports (attendance, assessment results) and update senior management on progress
• Propose improvements based on feedback and cybersecurity trends, and work with the Cyber Security Group to curate content
• Build and run communities of practice and expert networks, share content via newsletters and organise knowledge-sharing sessions and expert talks
• Manage workshop logistics, deliver workshops with approved materials, run gamified assessments and lead discussions on threat modelling and risk assessment
• Distribute attendance certificates and competency certifications

Required profile

• At least 5 years of working experience, including at least 3 years in cybersecurity risk assessments and threat modelling
• Experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing is advantageous
• Strong understanding of government ICT infrastructure and security challenges
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences

• Cybersecurity threat modelling process
• Experience managing, coordinating and delivering workshops
