Trademark Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Trademark Consultant to provide expert guidance on trademark and intellectual property matters. You will work closely with businesses, entrepreneurs, and legal professionals to help them protect their brands and navigate registration processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients needing trademark services and manage existing client renewals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and legal partners.
• Provide initial guidance on trademark registration procedures and requirements.
• Conduct preliminary trademark searches and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with the trademark team to ensure smooth handover for filing and prosecution.
• Address client inquiries regarding timelines, objections, and overall trademark strategy.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using CRM tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience handling intellectual property matters.
• Ability to work independently with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Applicants with additional experience may be considered for a senior title.
