US Licensed Customs Broker – Manager, Trade Advisory Hub

About the role

PwC's Trade Advisory Hub was set up to help companies manage and thrive in a complex international trade environment, advising clients on customs and international trade regulation, supply chain and tax issues. This manager-level role sits within the hub and focuses on helping businesses in Singapore and across Asia meet their customs and trade obligations. The position is open to an experienced US Licensed Customs Broker.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on US customs and trade rules, planning opportunities and compliance programmes
• Provide advice on tariff classification, customs valuation, country of origin, Free Trade Agreement eligibility and export controls
• Track regulatory changes and explain their impact on the business and its compliance requirements
• Support government reviews, information requests and regulatory enquiries
• Drive process improvement, risk management, governance and digitalisation across customs and trade operations
• Collaborate across functions and cultures to address complex trade matters

Required profile

• Active US Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) certification
• 5+ years of experience in customs compliance, global trade or trade advisory
• Experience advising business stakeholders on trade and customs compliance matters
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, and excellent communication skills across global teams

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of US customs regulations, tariff classification, customs valuation and country of origin rules
• Customs brokerage and customs regulations
