Vice President, Field CISO Commercial, Asia Pacific

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Vice President, Field CISO, Commercial for the Asia Pacific region to lead senior customer engagements, influence executive decision‑makers and drive cybersecurity thought leadership across the market.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives (CISOs, CIOs, CROs, Boards) on cyber resilience, fraud, digital trust and risk management.
• Lead executive briefings, advisory sessions and strategic customer engagements to position Mastercard as a cybersecurity partner.
• Capture market insights to influence product, engineering and innovation roadmaps.
• Partner with Sales, Product and Services teams to support strategic opportunities and drive revenue growth.
• Represent Mastercard at industry conferences, executive forums and CISO communities.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in cybersecurity, information security or technology risk (CISO, Deputy CISO or equivalent).
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence C‑suite and Board‑level stakeholders.
• Background in highly regulated industries such as financial services or payments is preferred.
• Experience advising large enterprise customers on strategy, risk reduction and digital transformation.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of cloud security, identity and Zero Trust architectures.
• Expertise in AI security, fraud prevention and digital trust frameworks.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS).
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC.
