Security Consultant - Design and Implementation

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Security Consultant to lead the design, integration, and delivery of physical and electronic security systems for commercial buildings and critical infrastructure. You will work closely with architecture, MEP, and ICT teams to ensure secure, buildable solutions that meet client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and integrate access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and biometric systems.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, contractors, and government agencies to maintain scope, quality, and schedule.
• Conduct feasibility studies, master planning, and strategic advice for security technology implementations.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, submittal review, and performance validation testing.
• Provide vendor‑independent, maintainable solutions and deliver training to end‑users and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or a Diploma with 5 + years experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in security technology design and project implementation.
• Proven experience on commercial buildings and critical infrastructure projects.
• Project management and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with data‑center security design is an advantage.
