Vice President, Finance

About the role

A globally recognised financial services firm expanding its APAC footprint seeks a commercially sharp Vice President of Finance. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will partner with regional business heads to turn financial data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to senior APAC stakeholders, delivering analysis and insights for commercial decision‑making.
• Lead regional budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning, coordinating with key business partners.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure robust process and system controls across regional finance operations.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand needs and optimise finance resource deployment.
• Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting, planning and internal controls.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance or Accountancy; Chartered Accountant, CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years of relevant experience; exposure to asset management, alternatives or capital markets is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS, with familiarity in tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling abilities with high proficiency in Excel.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to present insights to both finance and non‑finance audiences.
