About the role
We are partnering with a fast‑growing alternative investment platform to hire a Vice President of Investor Relations for its Singapore team. The role works closely with senior leadership and investment professionals, driving capital formation and investor engagement across Asia.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with senior management to design and execute fundraising and investor engagement strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with family offices, private banks, fund‑of‑funds, endowments, pensions and other institutional investors across Asia and globally.
- Manage the full fundraising lifecycle, including investor sourcing, meetings, due‑diligence processes and closing activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective investors, ensuring timely communication and relationship management.
- Coordinate preparation of investor presentations, marketing materials, due‑diligence questionnaires, data rooms, fund documentation and periodic reporting.
- Monitor market developments, investor trends and competitive dynamics to identify new fundraising opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Support ongoing investor communications and contribute to broader business‑development initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, capital raising, institutional sales or related functions.
- Prior experience in private equity, private credit, alternative asset management, investment banking, multi‑family offices or private wealth platforms is highly preferred.
- Established network across family offices, ultra‑high‑net‑worth investors, private banks and institutional allocators, particularly in Singapore and Hong Kong.
- Strong understanding of alternative investments and capital‑formation processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
