About the role
Toll Group is seeking a Vice President of Tax to lead its global tax function across a complex, multi‑jurisdictional portfolio. This senior leader will shape tax strategy, ensure compliance, and drive process optimisation for a logistics organisation operating in more than 27 markets.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage direct tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing matters for global business units.
- Oversee annual and quarterly tax reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Provide tax advisory and maintain the tax risk management framework.
- Ensure corporate income tax and transfer pricing obligations are met efficiently.
- Manage and resolve tax authority audits and investigations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Advise on transactional tax matters, including structuring, funding, repatriation, and commercial initiatives.
- Monitor legislative changes, assess implications, and ensure Group‑wide compliance.
- Drive tax process optimisation, automation, and standardisation, including statutory reporting (e.g., CbCR, Pillar Two).
- Oversee transfer pricing documentation and cross‑border arrangements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to manage tax risks and opportunities.
- Support the General Manager – Tax in stakeholder engagement and global tax projects.
Required profile
- 8‑12 years of relevant tax experience in professional services or a multinational corporate environment.
- Strong expertise in direct tax, international tax, and transfer pricing.
- Proven experience managing global tax audits and investigations.
- Solid understanding of international tax frameworks, including structuring, funding, repatriation, and cross‑border considerations.
- Hands‑on experience in tax reporting (IAS 12).
- Exposure to process improvement, automation, and standardisation initiatives in tax functions.
- Experience in indirect tax is advantageous.
Required skills
- Knowledge of IAS 12 tax reporting standards.
- Familiarity with Country‑by‑Country Reporting (CbCR) and Pillar Two requirements.
