Visiting Professor (Chinese) - Public Policy and Management

About the role

Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) is seeking outstanding candidates with a clear research vision and a strong publication record to apply for a Visiting Professorship in Chinese. The appointment is within the School of Humanities (SoH) and Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) of the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. The appointee will collaborate with and mentor faculty and researchers, teach on topics related to seminars in Public Policy and Management, and may mentor junior faculty and give a few seminars to faculty and postgraduate students.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of postgraduate curricula in public policy and management and related fields.
• Enhance the visibility of SoH and NCPA as an international leader in education and research.
• Collaborate with and mentor junior faculty and researchers.
• Deliver engaging and effective teaching to graduate students.
• Mentor and supervise graduate students.

Required profile

• PhD in Public Policy and Management.
• Strong research record with publications in reputable peer-reviewed international journals and conferences.
• Good track record of supervising research staff, postdocs and graduate students.
• Experience in cross-disciplinary research initiatives and collaboration.
• Recognition in the research community, such as invited talks, awards or membership in professional societies.
