Visualization Developer

About the role

Alcon’s Digital function is looking for a Visualization Developer to lead the design of digital health products. You will translate complex manufacturing data into real‑time visual insights and shape the user experience for advanced automation and robotic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive dashboards for manufacturing operations, automation and robotic systems.
• Build and maintain microservices that support visualization and system integration.
• Develop real‑time monitoring, alerting and control applications.
• Establish visualization, API and UI/UX standards and ensure scalability for the Smart Tech Center of Excellence.
• Create command‑and‑control interfaces for autonomous and humanoid robots, enabling safe execution of commands and workflow overrides.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Regulatory, ISO 13485, cGMP/GDP, HSE, Finance and Alcon corporate policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in visualization development, full‑stack development or real‑time application development.
• Proven track record delivering production‑grade dashboards and APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with automation, robotics, industrial IoT or manufacturing digitalisation is highly desirable.
• Ability to translate user needs into intuitive digital interfaces.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, experimental environments and communicating clearly across disciplines.
