VP, Foreign Direct Investment Advisory – Europe Desk

About the role

The Vice President will lead the Europe Desk in originating and managing European foreign direct investment (FDI) opportunities, guiding investors into ASEAN markets and expanding UOB's advisory footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and originate European FDI opportunities and convert them into new banking business.
• Support foreign investors throughout their entry into ASEAN, providing end‑to‑end advisory services.
• Develop and nurture partnerships with ecosystem partners to generate high‑quality leads.
• Raise market awareness of UOB’s FDI advisory and regional banking capabilities through targeted marketing initiatives.
• Organise outreach forums and events with business partners to promote the bank’s services.

Required profile

• Strong business acumen and understanding of the ASEAN FDI landscape.
• Proven track record engaging the European business community and ecosystem partners.
• Excellent rapport‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly motivated, disciplined self‑starter with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Strong communication and networking abilities, fluent in German, French and English.
• Banking experience is an advantage.
