VP – Information & Cybersecurity Auditor

About the role

Our client, a well‑established international bank, is looking for a senior audit professional to lead the Information and Cyber Security (ICS) audit function. The role combines deep technical expertise with audit and risk‑management experience to ensure the bank’s cyber‑security controls meet global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Audit in developing risk assessments and audit plans for the assigned portfolio.
• Plan, execute, and report internal audit engagements covering identity & access management, vulnerability management, code security, SOC operations, threat intelligence, red/purple teaming and penetration testing.
• Lead high‑risk audits, manage integrated audit teams, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.
• Identify risks, draft issue reports, and work with management to obtain effective remediation plans.
• Champion innovative audit methods, including AI and data‑analytics techniques.
• Track implementation of audit recommendations and escalate unresolved findings.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT auditing or information security.
• Strong understanding of cyber‑risk management, NIST and CIS frameworks, and related control requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate technical issues into business language.
• Proven team‑leadership, coaching, conflict‑resolution and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CEH, CCSP or GIAC are highly valued.
