Warehouse Assistant – Distribution Centre

About the role

The Warehouse Assistant will support the Richemont Distribution Centre by receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment and products. You will ensure smooth flow of goods from inbound shipments to outbound orders while maintaining high accuracy and cleanliness in the warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unpack and put away inbound shipments.
• Read and interpret customer, work and shipping orders to determine items to be moved.
• Transport materials between receiving, storage, and shipping areas using material handling equipment.
• Sort and place items on racks, shelves or bins according to size, type, style, colour or product code.
• Assemble customer orders, palletise or place them on shelves, and prepare parcels for shipping.
• Record quantities received or dispatched in the warehouse management system.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and perform value‑added services such as labeling and serial‑number recording.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and carry out ad‑hoc maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions and procedural manuals.
• Capability to follow written, oral or diagrammatic instructions and solve routine problems.
• Willingness to work overtime or shift patterns as needed.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Proficiency in operating material handling equipment (MHE).
