Warehouse Operator

About the role

The Warehouse Operator will support DSV’s fast‑moving logistics operations by handling inbound and outbound goods, ensuring accurate sorting, palletisation and safe storage. You will work on the warehouse floor, using scanning equipment and following strict safety and documentation procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Retrieve cartons from the staging area and sort them by destination and route.
• Match cartons to shipment IDs provided by the control system (CS).
• Unload deliveries, relocate goods to designated storage locations, and create pallet handling units (HU) as required.
• Wrap pallets, move them to outbound staging lanes, and scan pallet HU to record lane numbers.
• Verify shipping documents with drivers or forwarders for both local and overseas shipments.
• Receive, check, and count inbound cargo against documentation, performing visual inspections of mixed SKUs.
• Escalate any discrepancies or damages promptly.
• Execute PGR transactions, pallet wrapping, and transfer pallets to PND stations.
• Maintain housekeeping of inbound sorting and staging areas.
• Ensure compliance with DSV policies, workplace safety, and security rules.

Required profile

• Ability to follow DSV policies, safety procedures and security guidelines.
• Attention to detail when checking documents and handling goods.
