Web and Automation Developer (UiPath)

About the role

MS First Capital, a wholly owned entity of the Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (MSI) Group active in non-life insurance in Singapore and across Asia, is looking for an experienced Web Developer who is also a skilled UiPath Developer to join its automation team. The role combines a solid foundation in modern web application development with deep expertise in UiPath RPA, to deliver robust automation solutions for complex web-based systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy UiPath automation solutions, and integrate UiPath workflows with REST APIs and backend services.
• Build custom solutions and reusable automation components and libraries where native UiPath capabilities are insufficient.
• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to define technical solutions, and collaborate with customers to define use cases for process optimization, redesign and reengineering.
• Gather requirements, design, develop, test, deploy and document automation workflows, and create BRD, PDD and SDD documents.
• Implement and configure efficient, maintainable programs, scripts and objects following RPA best practices.
• Maintain RPA, monitor automation execution, and provide L1-L3 support, root-cause analysis and change management within SLAs.
• Serve in roles such as business process analyst, RPA developer, support and course trainer on multiple assignments.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with the UiPath platform; minimum 3 years as a Web Application Developer.
• Proven experience developing automation solutions with UiPath, and strong experience in software delivery cycles using Waterfall and/or Agile.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, and a proactive, self-learning attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced skills in designing, developing and maintaining application code.
• Web services, REST API, JSON and RDBMS such as Oracle.
• Preferred: UiPath ADP certification, IDP with UiPath Document Understanding, and experience with Power Automate, Blue Prism or Automation Anywhere.
• Advantageous: C#, VB.NET, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), React, Angular or Vue.
