Welder - HA Gas Turbine Component Repairs

About the role
Gevernova is hiring a welder for its HA component repairs work. The welder performs all types of welding and metal fabrication according to work instructions, from simple to complex jobs, and reports to the Operations Leader.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and perform TIG welds on high-temperature alloys during repair of HA gas turbine components
- Perform blending repair of HA gas turbine components
- Ensure product quality, equipment care, production output and pace, housekeeping and schedules
- Follow all applicable EHS rules and report immediately any unsafe practices or conditions
- Carry out other duties as assigned
Required profile
- Completed secondary level or higher education
- At least 3 years of experience in a related field
- Basic command of English (speak and read)
- Able to perform rotating shifts
- NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or TIG welding experience preferred
