Workforce Development Specialist / Senior Specialist

About the role

Micron Technology, a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is seeking a Workforce Development (WD) Specialist for its MSB and MSH sites in Singapore. The specialist shapes the learning and development landscape at the site, executing, governing and managing site learning initiatives in line with Micron's global standards, and directly impacts team member growth, operational excellence and organisational capability.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and adapt training plans for production areas, analyse training reports and forecast staffing and training needs
• Carry out learning needs analyses, curate training solutions and work with subject matter experts to design content
• Develop and maintain On-The-Job Training (OJT) resources and the new hire onboarding programme
• Plan, implement and evaluate programmes, document business processes, identify gaps and recommend improvements
• Mentor team members, advise on career paths and support performance management (planning, appraisal, recognition)
• Manage training data with digital and AI tools and publish reports for stakeholders
• Act as a consultant to internal and external partners on workforce development solutions
• Support change management, communication plans and the integration of AI-enabled tools into daily work

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or a related field
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills, and effective communication across all levels
• Growth mindset, demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron; internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI tools responsibly

Required skills

• Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and document control systems
• AI-enabled tools for research, analysis, content creation and problem solving
