Workplace Safety & Health Officer / Environmental Compliance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) who will also serve as an Environmental Compliance Officer (ECO) for our construction projects across Singapore. The role involves ensuring strict adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations while driving continuous improvement of our EHS management system.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with government health, safety and environmental regulations and enforce in‑house safety rules.
• Conduct regular on‑site safety inspections, monitor construction work sites and aim for zero safety demerit points from the Ministry of Manpower.
• Lead continuous improvement of the EHS system through ISO 14001 and OHSAS 1800 implementation.
• Identify best practices, reduce work‑process risks and raise safety awareness among staff.
• Provide technical advice, coaching and mentoring to the WSH team on safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered WSHO and ECO with at least 3 years of experience in a construction firm.
• Familiar with safety, health and environmental legislation and risk‑management procedures.
