Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to join our team and lead the safety initiatives across our large‑scale infrastructure projects in Singapore. The role involves developing, implementing and maintaining a robust safety programme to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the company’s Safety Programme.
• Ensure all work activities comply with company safety policies and the Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act.
• Provide guidance on work plans, risk assessments and safe work procedures.
• Identify potential safety issues and recommend corrective measures.
• Lead and promote a strong safety culture among colleagues.
• Conduct daily workplace safety inspections and compile relevant safety reports and records.
• Prepare and submit weekly safety reports to management and clients.
• Participate in the implementation, maintenance and auditing of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 management systems.

Required profile

• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower.
• Strong knowledge of WSHE‑related legislation, including the WSH Act and environmental standards.
