WSHO Safety Officer – Construction (Up to $6,500)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced WSHO Safety Officer to lead safety, compliance and environmental health initiatives across construction sites islandwide. You will work closely with project teams to ensure a safe working environment and adherence to Singapore’s WSH regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, statutory requirements and company safety policies.
• Review and enhance Safety Management Systems in line with local legislation.
• Conduct safety training, toolbox talks and WSH committee meetings.
• Perform site audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Enforce safety rules, issue corrective actions and investigate incidents.
• Liaise with authorities and stakeholders on safety matters.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, reporting and record submission.

Required profile

• Registered WSHO & ECO certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HDB or commercial construction projects.
• Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Health or related field.
• Strong knowledge of local WSH regulations and compliance standards.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills; Mandarin preferred.
