6-Month Contract Accountant (Accountancy Degree)

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our team on a six‑month contract supporting a government hospital’s finance function in Singapore. The role involves financial analysis, system testing and assisting with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in system User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve any charging computation issues.
• Collect and analyse data to support costing and pricing of services.
• Assess financial viability of capital requisitions and projects.
• Perform financial analysis of revenue and cost centres, providing verification and advice.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including workload trend and case‑mix analysis.
• Maintain and update existing system setups continuously.
• Review and approve capital expenditure requisitions.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Reporting Officer or Head of Department.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Meticulous and detail‑oriented.
