Accountancy Associate – General Assurance (Start July 2027)

About the role

PwC is seeking an Accountancy Associate to join its General Assurance practice. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, helping them navigate regulatory complexities and improve corporate reporting. This role offers exposure to leading Singapore‑listed companies, multinational corporations, and emerging businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit fieldwork and test internal controls across multiple client engagements.
• Prepare audit working papers and documentation to support audit conclusions.
• Assist in reviewing financial statements for compliance with SFRS, IFRS, and SSA standards.
• Liaise with client finance teams to obtain information, resolve queries, and understand business processes.
• Support senior associates, managers, and partners throughout the engagement lifecycle, from planning to reporting.
• Deliver innovative, cost‑effective solutions for financial control, regulatory reporting, and technology‑related audit issues.

Required profile

• Final‑year undergraduate or postgraduate standing in Accountancy from a local or overseas university.
• Strong academic performance with consistent results.
• Active involvement in co‑curricular activities, leadership roles, internships, or community initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, proactive mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced, client‑driven environment.
• Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
