AP Accounts Assistant – 6-Month Temporary Role

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Assistant to join our finance team on a six‑month temporary basis in Singapore. The role involves processing supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding, and supporting month‑end activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices accurately and promptly.
• Match invoices against Purchase Orders and supporting documents.
• Check invoice approvals and general‑ledger (GL) coding before processing.
• Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies.
• Liaise with internal departments and vendors to resolve invoice‑related issues.
• Assist with payment processing to meet agreed timelines.
• Maintain up‑to‑date AP records and documentation.
• Support month‑end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
• Help the finance team with audit requirements and ad‑hoc accounting duties.

Required profile

• Experience handling accounts payable processes such as invoice verification, PO matching, and supplier statement reconciliation.
• Ability to work with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues.
• Attention to detail for accurate GL coding and documentation.
