Digital Tax Business Analyst – Corporate Tax (Senior Associate)

About the role

PwC’s Digital Tax team is looking for a Senior Associate who will act as a Business Analyst for corporate tax technology solutions. You will work closely with tax experts and technology developers to design, implement and optimise digital tools that automate tax processes and improve data quality.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into functional and non‑functional specifications for tax technology projects.
• Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and support project managers throughout end‑to‑end delivery.
• Collaborate with developers to design, build or enhance tax‑related applications and platforms.
• Embed tax needs into IT systems to increase automation, data quality and reporting efficiency.
• Ensure usability and suitability of digital solutions for tax users.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with a strong corporate tax background.
• Proven ability to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self‑starter attitude with a problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of database systems such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation tools, e.g., Blue Prism.
• Understanding of the software development life‑cycle.
