Associate/Engagement Manager – Finance, Risk & Restructuring

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking an Associate or Engagement Manager to lead finance, risk and restructuring engagements for leading financial institutions and corporates in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consulting teams on finance, risk and restructuring projects, managing analyses, workstreams and delivery.
• Develop insights and translate analyses into clear recommendations and executive‑level presentations.
• Manage projects through effective planning, stakeholder management and coaching of junior team members.
• Build client relationships by partnering with senior stakeholders and delivering impactful solutions.
• Deliver analytical excellence using financial, operational and risk analyses, leveraging automation, advanced analytics and GenAI‑assisted workflows.
• Support client work across finance transformation, enterprise risk, treasury, regulatory change, operational resilience and broader business transformation.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years (Associate) or 7‑10 years (Engagement Manager) experience in top‑tier consulting, financial services or industry, with finance, risk, treasury, restructuring or transformation exposure.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and workstreams in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to engage senior stakeholders.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a strong academic program.
• Curiosity‑driven approach to data analysis and problem solving.
• Comfortable working with large/complex datasets and analytical tools, with interest in AI/GenAI applications in finance and risk.
