Enterprise Risk Management Specialist – Senior Manager

About the role

GovTech is looking for an experienced Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) specialist to help shape modern governance for cloud, AI and digital public infrastructure. You will work at national scale, tackling complex, unanswered questions that affect Singapore’s Smart Nation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop quantitative, structured risk‑management approaches that drive actionable decisions.
• Integrate enterprise risk management with operational telemetry and engineering workflows for near‑real‑time risk visibility.
• Identify and articulate cross‑cutting risks spanning cybersecurity, technology, data and citizen impact.
• Balance rapid innovation in AI, cloud and platform engineering with responsible stewardship of public systems and funds.
• Provide risk insights that are useful to senior leadership, the board and partner agencies.
• Manage risk‑based exceptions as concrete decisions, ensuring clear ownership, scope and timelines.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with deep experience in enterprise risk management or governance.
• Curious and pragmatic mindset, able to challenge assumptions and work closely with engineers and product teams.
• Strong understanding of public‑sector digital transformation and the associated risk landscape.
