Finance Manager – West Region

About the role

Our client, a regional supply chain and trading company in the wire and cable industry, is expanding in Singapore and the United States. They are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead finance operations, strengthen controls, and partner with the Managing Director to drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions for the Singapore entity and coordinate finance activities for US operations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, cash‑flow forecasts and conduct financial analysis.
• Oversee treasury, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and working‑capital management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis and commercial decision‑making.
• Handle landed costing, inventory accounting and provide financial support for international trading and supply‑chain activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, tax regulations and internal controls, including US GAAP and SOX.
• Coordinate audits, payroll, CPF, tax filings and other corporate compliance matters.
• Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and the China shared‑services team to improve finance processes and efficiency.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing a full set of accounts.
• Hands‑on experience supporting both Singapore and US finance operations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance and Singapore statutory and tax requirements.
• Experience in trading, import/export, distribution or supply‑chain businesses is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel to China for onboarding and annual visits.
