About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Associate will deliver friendly, personalised and efficient service at 1887 by André, a heritage gastronomy restaurant within Raffles Hotel Singapore. The role supports the outlet’s financial targets while ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality service in line with hotel Standard Operating Procedures.
• Greet and bid farewell to guests and colleagues courteously.
• Maintain a well‑presented appearance and adhere to grooming standards.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the food & beverage menu, including liquors, cocktails and Mediterranean cuisine.
• Offer menu recommendations, take accurate orders and input them into the Point of Sale system.
• Double‑check orders before sending tickets to the kitchen and verify any allergen requirements.
• Anticipate guest needs, remember preferences and ensure seamless service throughout the dining experience.
• Assist colleagues efficiently and contribute to the outlet’s financial and service targets.

Required profile

• Professional and well‑presented appearance with adherence to grooming standards.
• Strong knowledge of the restaurant’s menu, Mediterranean cuisine and beverage offerings.
• Ability to remember guest preferences and provide personalised service.
• Attention to detail when handling orders and POS entries.
• Proactive attitude to anticipate and fulfil guest needs without prompting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the hotel’s food & beverage menus.
• Understanding of liquors, cocktails and Mediterranean culinary trends.
• Proficiency with a Point of Sale (POS) system for order entry.
