Head of Finance – APAC Manufacturing

About the role

The client is a well‑established manufacturing group with a strong presence across Asia Pacific. They are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to lead the regional finance function, partner with senior leadership, and drive financial excellence across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close and ensure statutory compliance for all APAC entities, including tax, transfer pricing and auditor liaison.
• Maintain and continuously improve internal control frameworks, policies and financial systems.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management for the region.
• Partner with regional finance teams and senior non‑finance stakeholders, providing strategic insights and coaching.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 10‑15 years of relevant experience, including Big 4 audit background and regional APAC exposure.
• Proven leadership of multi‑country finance teams.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and solid grasp of APAC tax regulations.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
