Junior Energy Broker – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Junior Energy Broker to join our Singapore office. In this front‑office, client‑facing position you will support senior brokers and build relationships with East Asian institutional clients trading energy commodity derivatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior brokers in covering institutional clients across energy commodity derivatives in East Asia.
• Support onboarding of new client relationships and maintain existing ones.
• Communicate market developments and product activity to clients in their local language.
• Collaborate with Operations and Technology teams to ensure smooth trade execution.
• Contribute to profit‑and‑loss improvement through market and product analysis.
• Help prepare internal frameworks and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with MAS, NFA and internal risk and conduct policies.

Required profile

• Commercially driven attitude with strong interest in energy markets.
• Excellent language skills to interact with East Asian institutional clients.
• Willingness to learn broking from senior colleagues; no prior broking experience required.
• Understanding of regulatory and operational risk requirements.
