About the role
The Legal (Civil) Department of NEA seeks a qualified Legal Counsel to provide expert advice on civil law matters. You will support business partners by ensuring contracts and legislative changes comply with Singapore law.
Key responsibilities
- Vet contracts and advise business partners on legal issues.
- Review and draft amendments to legislation, coordinating with partners to implement changes.
- Provide contract, legislative and public‑law advisory services.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and admission as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
- Minimum 3 years experience in civil law advisory work, including contract drafting and legislative review.
- Strong communication, analytical and writing abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to change.
- Highly motivated, meticulous, committed and proactive.
