Legal Counsel – Technology (3-5 PQE) – Singapore

About the role

Our client, a US‑headquartered global technology solutions and services group, is expanding its APAC operations and seeks a Legal Counsel – Technology (3‑5 years post‑qualification experience) based in Singapore. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will act as a key legal partner for commercial, sales, finance, operations and logistics teams across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including master services, reseller, distribution, software licensing, NDAs and vendor contracts.
• Lead contract negotiations with enterprise customers, technology partners, vendors and other third parties.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contractual risk areas such as liability, indemnities, IP, warranties, service levels, data protection and termination clauses.
• Support technology, cloud, infrastructure and managed‑services businesses across APAC, including cross‑border matters involving multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide guidance on data privacy, regulatory compliance, import/export and other corporate commercial issues.
• Collaborate with the global legal team on international initiatives and legal projects.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience, either in‑house or at a recognised law firm.
• Qualified to practise law in Singapore (highly preferred).
• Strong hands‑on experience reviewing, redlining and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Prior exposure to the technology, IT, cloud, software, hardware or technology services sector.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Mandarin proficiency is advantageous.
