Manufacturing Engineer II – Medical Devices (Up to $6.2k)

About the role

This is a 12‑month renewable contract position based in Changi, Singapore, supporting the PPE‑Sterilization, Resilia & Packaging business unit. The role offers up to SGD 6,200 per month and focuses on advancing manufacturing processes for medical devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop equipment, tools and fixtures to improve manufacturing processes.
• Develop and execute experiments, tests and validation protocols; analyse results and prepare reports.
• Prepare work instructions, training and technical documentation for production teams.
• Support automation, process technology and validation projects.
• Provide technical guidance on software coding and development.
• Troubleshoot automated equipment and support Industry 4.0/5.0 initiatives.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve manufacturing risks and issues.
• Support robotics, AI and automation‑related projects where applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong programming/computer skills, particularly Python and Power BI.
• C# knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience with robotics, AI/LLMs, VLM/VLA or AI‑assisted programming is highly advantageous.
• Experience in Industry 4.0/5.0, robotic programming or automation projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automated equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience with medical‑device manufacturing, GMP/GDP or FDA regulations is advantageous.
• CAD and MS Project knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Good documentation skills and strong attention to detail.
