Operations Manager – Oil & Gas Services Division

About the role

Petracarbon is looking for a highly experienced Operations Manager to lead its Oil & Gas Services division in Shanghai. The role combines strategic leadership, commercial oversight and hands‑on management of workshop and field service activities to drive growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall management, growth and performance of the Oil & Gas Services division.
• Develop and execute long‑term strategic plans and annual business objectives.
• Monitor business performance against KPIs and report results.
• Own the division’s P&L, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Drive sales targets, market forecasting and business development initiatives.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and new opportunities.
• Maintain and expand relationships with key customers while acquiring new business.
• Coordinate technical and operational teams to ensure timely project delivery and high customer satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor and develop sales, workshop and on‑site technician teams.
• Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, tools and resources for workshop and field operations.
• Oversee tools, machinery, inventory and maintenance activities to ensure operational readiness.
• Collaborate with suppliers, partners and Petracarbon Singapore on equipment rentals, purchases and technical support.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, safety requirements and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations management within the oil & gas services sector.
• Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities.
• Demonstrated P&L responsibility and commercial acumen.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and drive business growth.
• Experience in market research, customer relationship management and business development.
• Excellent coordination skills across sales, workshop and field service functions.
