Operator C – Terminal Operations (Jurong Island)

About the role

Stolthaven’s Operations department is seeking an Operator C (Operations Technician) to support safe and reliable terminal operations on Jurong Island. Working on a rotating shift, you will assist with product movement, storage, utilities, and basic frontline maintenance while adhering to strict SOPs and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and Fire & Safety Management System (FSMS) procedures.
• Apply risk‑control measures and Safe System of Work (SSoW) guidelines.
• Conduct toolbox talks, shift handovers and maintain good housekeeping.
• Manage emergency response as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
• Perform activity process and utilities operations following SOPs.
• Assist in start‑up, monitoring and shutdown of process units and utilities.
• Troubleshoot basic operational upsets and carry out frontline maintenance.
• Carry out process sampling, testing, data logging and routine reporting.
• Prepare equipment and work areas for maintenance or turnaround activities.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects and staff development.

Required profile

• Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Chemical Process Technology.
• Minimum two years of experience in terminal or related industrial operations.
• Willingness to work on Jurong Island (company transport provided).
• Ability to work rotating shifts and collaborate effectively within a team.
