Patient Liaison Officer – Hospital Frontline Support

About the role

The Patient Liaison Officer acts as the primary point of contact for private patients, their families, and healthcare providers. Working within a central hospital environment, you will ensure smooth communication, accurate information flow, and a high level of service throughout the patient journey.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date patient information and ensure accurate documentation in line with hospital policies.
• Coordinate appointments and admissions, matching patient requests with clinical and operational guidelines.
• Serve as the liaison between patients, doctors, and internal stakeholders, handling enquiries and providing timely updates.
• Manage on‑call duties, including weekend rosters, and support direct admissions and air evacuations.
• Address complaints and difficult situations with tact, applying service recovery when needed.
• Accompany VVIP/VIP patients to ensure a seamless experience.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline.
• 3‑4 years of experience in healthcare or a customer‑facing service role.
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on‑call rotations.
