Patient Services Officer – Up to $3500, Mon-Fri Office Hours

About the role

The Patient Services Officer will act as the primary point of contact for patients, doctors, and internal stakeholders within a hospital setting. This role ensures accurate patient information management and delivers high‑quality, courteous service throughout the patient journey.

Key responsibilities

• Update patient information accurately and timely.
• Maintain and dispose of documents in line with hospital policies.
• Handle enquiries from private patients and both external and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate appointments, matching patient requests while adhering to clinical and operational guidelines.
• Arrange admissions and serve as the liaison for patients, doctors, and stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly with patients and next‑of‑kin, addressing queries and requests.
• Provide exceptional service, including handling complaints and difficult situations with tact.
• Coordinate VVIP/VIP appointments and support direct admissions and air evacuations.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline.
• At least 3‑4 years of experience in the healthcare industry or a customer‑facing service role.
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on‑call rotation.
