About the role
Raffles Hotel Singapore is seeking a passionate, sophisticated, and people‑centric People & Culture Manager to join its People & Culture team. This senior HR role will partner closely with leadership to champion a high‑performance culture, nurture exceptional talent, and drive strategic people initiatives that reflect the prestige and heritage of the Raffles brand.
Key responsibilities
- Drive seamless execution of People & Culture strategies aligned with the hotel’s vision and luxury service philosophy.
- Support workforce planning and talent mapping to meet business growth and operational needs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, policy interpretation, engagement and workplace practices.
- Identify opportunities to enhance HR operational efficiency, digitalisation, and colleague experience.
- Support budgeting and manpower forecasting for the department.
- Lead culture transformation initiatives to boost engagement, performance and retention.
- Foster an inclusive, inspiring colleague experience across all levels.
- Lead strategic recruitment to attract top hospitality talent and build robust talent pipelines.
- Champion colleague wellness, recognition and belonging initiatives.
- Review, enhance and uphold HR policies, procedures and best practices.
- Prepare HR reports, analytics and presentations for management.
- Strengthen relationships with educational institutions and industry networks.
- Support disciplinary and grievance processes with fairness, integrity and empathy.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
Required profile
- Accomplished HR professional with experience in luxury hospitality or high‑end service environments.
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and act as a trusted advisor on people matters.
- Strong track record of driving culture change, talent acquisition and employee engagement.
- Excellent judgment, discretion and commitment to confidentiality.
- Passionate about creating a positive, inclusive workplace where excellence and well‑being are celebrated.
