Pharmacist – Hospital Pharmacy (Contract/Locum/Perm)

About the role

The Singapore National Eye Centre is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join its Pharmacy team. You will ensure safe, efficient dispensing of medications, provide patient counselling, and support the clinical team in delivering high‑quality eye care.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications in accordance with Good Dispensing Practice.
• Interact with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Counsel patients on drug therapy, usage, and potential side effects.
• Verify prescription discrepancies with clinicians and resolve them.
• Identify, resolve, and prevent drug‑related problems such as overdoses, interactions, and allergies.
• Maintain accurate charging of medications and perform daily account closures.
• Ensure timely distribution of pharmaceuticals to all hospital departments.

Required profile

• Valid pharmacist licensure in Singapore.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• At least 1 year of relevant pharmacy experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Well‑mannered, cheerful disposition with strong patient‑relation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
