About the role

Deutsche Bank’s Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) business is seeking an experienced Electronic Metals Trader to join its APAC team in Singapore. The role sits within the DBFX division, a market‑leading operation that combines sales, trading and research to deliver a broad range of financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage e‑spot risk for metals in the APAC time zone, monitoring positions and liquidity parameters.
• Ensure the e‑spot offering aligns with market conditions and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with technology developers to continuously improve pricing engines, hedging models and predictive analytics.
• Partner with sales and structuring teams to market electronic offerings, optimise volumes and drive revenue per client.
• Provide cross‑coverage on linear voice products, delivering competitive pricing across currencies and product sets.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in electronic metals trading.
• Proven track record of managing market risk on an electronic platform.
• Strong understanding of electronic order‑book operations and e‑spot market dynamics.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
