Production Operator, Line Leader & Manufacturing Assistant

About the role

Lumilens is expanding its high‑volume manufacturing team at the Bulim plant and is looking for Production Operators, Manufacturing Assistants, and Line Leaders. You will work on automated assembly lines that produce photonic components for AI supercomputing, following strict cleanroom and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate automated assembly and test equipment, load materials, and record production outputs.
• Perform visual and microscope quality inspections to detect defects early.
• Follow cleanroom protocols, ESD precautions, 5S housekeeping, and safety regulations.
• Assist with line changeovers, material staging, and kitting.
• Track materials using MES barcode scanners and report scrap.
• Coordinate shift assignments, monitor line pacing, and resolve basic bottlenecks (Line Leader).

Required profile

• Primary/Secondary education, Nitec, or equivalent practical factory experience.
• Experience in electronics assembly, cleanroom, semiconductor, or precision manufacturing is a plus (training provided for entry level).
• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts and stand for extended periods.
• Basic English proficiency to follow written SOPs and safety instructions.

Required skills

• Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) barcode scanning.
• Cleanroom handling and ESD safety practices.
• Ability to conduct visual and microscope inspections.
