Psychological Medicine Specialist

About the role

The Department of Psychological Medicine at CGH is looking for qualified medical professionals to join its team. This position involves delivering specialist clinical care, contributing to academic activities, and supporting research initiatives within a dynamic hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clinical and administrative duties related to psychological medicine.
• Teach and supervise junior doctors in the department.
• Participate in research projects and scholarly activities.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Division.

Required profile

• Hold a basic medical degree and a postgraduate qualification registrable with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
• Possess specialty training recognised by the Specialists Accreditation Board (SAB) in Singapore.
• Provide documentary evidence of specialist training and registration from the country of origin and the relevant licensing body.
• Preferably have prior working experience as an accredited and licensed specialist in the country of origin.
• Meet all additional criteria stipulated by the SMC for Conditional Medical Registration.
• Fulfil English language proficiency requirements if the primary language of instruction for the basic medical degree was not English.
