Regional HSE Leader – APAC

About the role

The Regional Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Leader for APAC will champion a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible workplace across multiple IMI sites in the Asia‑Pacific region. Reporting to sector HSE directors, you will translate strategic HSE priorities into actionable plans, support site teams, and drive measurable, year‑on‑year improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret sector HSE priorities and develop site‑level action plans within 30 days of each performance cycle.
• Ensure Site HSE Managers understand expectations, timelines and deliverables.
• Balance competing sector priorities, coordinate sequencing with HSE directors and escalate when needed.
• Partner with Site HSE Managers to implement improvement actions, focusing on practical delivery and measurable outcomes.
• Conduct purposeful site visits linked to clear objectives and improvement targets.
• Challenge existing approaches constructively, identify root causes of incidents and support corrective actions through to resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading HSE programmes across multiple industrial sites.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate strategy into practical actions.
• Excellent influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Capability to drive cultural change and continuous improvement.
