Regional Legal Counsel (Corporate & Hotel Operations)

About the role

As Regional Legal Counsel you will be a trusted business partner providing practical corporate and commercial legal advice across the Group. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, regional teams and hotel General Managers on a broad range of legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to the Group's Singapore regional office functions, including Finance, HR, Marketing, Investment, Asset Management and Hotel Operations.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial and intra‑group agreements to support regional corporate and business initiatives.
• Advise on corporate structure, governance matters and joint‑venture arrangements for Southeast Asia and Australasia subsidiaries.
• Coordinate with external counsel to support the Group's business footprint in the region and handle employment‑related decisions and agreements.
• Support HQ projects such as loyalty programmes and e‑commerce initiatives.
• Provide legal advice to hotel General Managers, draft and review commercial agreements for hotel initiatives.
• Offer first‑line advice on disputes and claims arising from hotel operations and coordinate with external counsel or insurers as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified to practice law in Singapore with a minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• A mix of law‑firm and in‑house experience, preferably with a solid background in corporate and commercial work.
• Good analytical skills and commercial judgement, able to handle legal matters independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, confident engaging senior management, external counsel and regional teams.
• Responsible, efficient, self‑motivated, meticulous and organized approach.
