Research Associate/Fellow – Cancer Screening in Primary Care

About the role

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is seeking a Research Associate or Senior/Research Fellow to lead a programme aimed at optimising cancer screening uptake within primary care settings. The role builds on existing co‑design work and uses mixed‑methods research to develop and evaluate a family‑history tool for risk stratification and referral to genetics services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement mixed‑methods studies to assess cancer screening pathways in primary care.
• Develop, pilot, and evaluate a family‑history tool for risk stratification.
• Collaborate with health‑service partners, clinicians, and patient groups to ensure patient‑centred research design.
• Generate and disseminate evidence on effective strategies to improve screening uptake and equity.
• Contribute to publications, reports, and presentations for academic and stakeholder audiences.

Required profile

• Research Associate or Senior/Research Fellow level.
• Experience with mixed‑methods research and implementation science.
• Background in primary care, family medicine, or cancer screening research.
• Ability to work collaboratively with health‑service and patient partners.
